The Tortoise And The Hare

Most days I feel like the tortoise, in The Tortoise And The Hare fable (click here for story). The garden work is hard, and progress is slow. Thankfully, I am starting to see the finish line.

Saturday, I finished planting my beds and mulched around the plants with straw.

As you can see I still haven’t gotten the paths between the beds cleaned off yet. That will be this week’s project to complete.

We had a huge pile of mulch delivered.

The next time I show a picture of this area….I hope all the mulch will be gone. One wheelbarrow at a time….tortoise slow….but the race will be finished.

Today’s life verse comes from Jessa Duggar.
