Memorial Day

Today I am taking a break from the garden and celebrating Memorial Day. I think it is important that we honor the men and women who have served and died for our freedom.

Yesterday, at our church, Lake Norman Baptist, we had the most wonderful service to honor these men and women. Check it out here. If it is not loaded yet, please return later in the week to view the service. It will be well worth your time. Make sure you have a pack of kleenex nearby as you watch.

When we arrived at church, the Patriot Guard were lined up the walk way, as our “Wounded Warriors” from the Walter Reed National Military Hospital were welcomed, to be honored for their sacrifice.

They had some really cool scenes playing on the big screens at the front of the church.

The service was truly something to witness. Let me reiterate again. Please check out the service on the Lake Norman Baptist Church website linked above. It should be available for viewing very soon.

HAVE A GREAT MEMORIAL DAY!
